"Microarchitectures as works of art.
Stories and dreams of children to build for a future to be reinvented.
Living the world with sensitivity and imagining
new ways of being together."

I launched this project in 2024 with my friends Alice Cecchini and Roman Joliy, both Architects at Atelier Poem.
Since then, it has grown significantly, becoming in just a few years an international reference point for experimental architecture.

The Festival of Microarchitecture features a series of site-specific installations embedded in the landscape, creating temporary itineraries that invite visitors — including local residents — to rediscover the territory beyond everyday routines.
All installations are built using organic materials, primarily spruce wood. At the end of the festival, the materials are recovered and reused, reinforcing a circular and sustainable approach to architectural experimentation.
A collective expo featuring all the projects that took part in the international open call is curated every year by the Festival, in a special location. - ph: Jonas Zauels
Microarchitecture is an ephemeral work that is not born with a predefined function—the program is the architecture itself.
These are installations of approximately 10 square meters, designed by international architects who propose a new vision of the territory and its natural and cultural heritage.

Festival di Microarchitettura was created with the aim of bringing architecture back to the center of local debates, reclaiming its sensitive and humanistic foundations and using it as a tool to raise awareness of the area, enhance its value, and contribute to its development.
